The premier episode of a new web streaming series is just days away from going live. The Dark Web is a bran new type of web series that combines traditional news/talk show format with an internet streaming tone and presentation. The show will focus on techie, gaming and internet culture.
Each episode will be presented in a similar manner as a typical evening news cast or news talk show. There show will be a 30-minute production broken down into 4 segments. The “A block” will be the discussion topic of the week. The B block will be a break down of “what’s streaming.” It will highlight various streaming shows, channels and content creators ranging from YouTube and Twitch to Amazon, Netflix and Hulu. The C block will be the Retro Showcase, a shorter segment devoted to talking about a single retro item, typically a movie, toy, comic book, board game or other item. The D block is the innovative new segment that will cap the show in the same way as a normal newscast with a traditional sports section. The catch, the segment will cover Esports in the same way as a traditional sports segment in a typical broadcast.
